Round Table: Tourism in Sensitive and Protected Areas

In many countries tourism has become one of the most important branches of the economy.

The figures about the millions of visitors in sensitive areas, which we proudly present, also point to a long-term risk to water bodies, forests and their flora and fauna. How to protect still one of the cleanest seas, how to preserve unique karst lakes, wetlands, forests and other natural attractions? How to convince hotel-keepers, restaurant owners, motor camp owners and individuals making a living from such activities that it is necessary to restrict the number of visitors and control them, construct appropriate infrastructure and maintain it at the highest possible level?

These are only some of the questions we wish to raise and have answered at a round table to be chaired by world-class experts who have already faced and successfully dealt with such problems in their home countries.
